Simple Fried Rice

Fried Rice is just the thing to take your “at home” Chinese take out to the next level!

I make Chinese food a few times each month. My whole entire family loves it and there are ways to have make your at home Chinese take out taste just like the restaurants for a fraction of the price! Some of my other favorite Chinese food recipes are this sweet and sour chicken, crockpot beef and broccoli, pineapple chicken, Chinese chicken salad (which isn’t very Chinese), stir fry, crockpot teriyaki chicken, and this orange chicken.
This fried rice does take a little more time that I like for a side dish since the rice has to be cooked for this recipe so what I like to do is make extra rice or use leftover rice for this recipe! And that is just what I did the other night!

Simple Fried Rice

Ingredients

4 cups rice, cooked and prepared
2 Tablespoons sesame oil
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups frozen vegetable medley
2 eggs
1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions

In a skillet drizzle in sesame oil. Then add in the minced garlic and begin to sauté. Then add in onions and frozen vegetables. Cook for 3 minutes. Then press the vegetables to the side of the pan and then crack in the eggs. Cook the eggs and scramble them. Once the eggs are cooked mix them together with the cooked vegetables. Then add in the cooked rice. Mix well and stir to combined. Then pour in the soy sauce and mix well! Then Serve!
