Arby’s Beef and Cheddar with Sauce Recipe

Making the Arby’s beef and cheddar sandwich is super easy and a cheaper option for large families. Try it out and learn how to make the copycat version!

As a family of 6 taking us all to Arby’s can get quite expensive! It is kind of crazy how much they charge for a roast beef sandwich! Making them at home can be faster then driving your family to Arby’s and waiting in the drive thru for them to make your sandwich! So I decided to make them at home! And you can too! Follow along with this easy and cheap recipe.

Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar Sandwiches with Arby's Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 package Onion with Poppyseed Buns
  • 1/4 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 lb Roast Beef
  • Pre-made Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 4-6 Tbsp Water
  • 4-5 drops Tabasco
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to broil. Grab the hamburger buns and spread some butter on.
  2. Pop them in the oven under broil for a minute. Then Remove them from the oven and add the roast beef.
  3. Next pop back in the oven under broil for a minute! Heat up the nacho cheese sauce and then drizzle over the roast beef.
  4. In a sauce pan add the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Then remove from heat.
  5. Drizzle on the top of the bun and then the top of the nacho cheese. Then put the two sides together and eat up!

  2. Arby’s sauce is not on their beef n cheddars. It is red ranch sauce which is sweet and completely different than the tangy Arby’s sauce packets you can get at the restaurant.

    This is off of Arby’s website under ingredients. Classic Beef ‘n Cheddar: Roast Beef, Cheddar Cheese Sauce, Red Ranch Sauce, Onion Roll.
