How to make Greek Chicken Thighs in the Slow Cooker

  1. Grab a cast iron skillet and drizzle in some olive oil. Then season the chicken thighs on each side with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  3. Then place in the crockpot. Pour over the remaining ingredients.
  4. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  5. Then remove from crockpot and top with feta and fresh herbs

ingredients

6 Chicken Thighs

olive oil

salt and pepper

1 red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup kalamata olives

2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning

2 Tablespoons minced garlic

3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar

1/3 cup honey

topping ingredients

feta

fresh herbs (basil, parsley or thyme)
