Autumn Popcorn Mix

Ingredients

  • 24 cups popcorn popped
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Put popcorn in a large roasting pan or a large cookie sheet. Then in a saucepan add the butter, brown sugar, molasses and salt . Stir it constantly until it comes to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes then remove from heat. Add the vanilla and stir in. Then add the spices. Stir in and then add the baking soda. It will begin to foam up! Then evenly pour the mixture over the popcorn. Stir and then pop in the oven. It takes 1 hour to bake! If you put on a large cookie sheet and the popcorn is spread out you will only need to stir in once in the middle of cooking. If you have it stacked in a roasting pan stir every 15 minutes.
