Crockpot Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless beef chunk roast cut into thin strips
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp seasame oil
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • Broccoli floret
  • rice

Instructions

  1. Grab you crockpot and place beef strips at the bottom. Salt and Pepper beef. In a bowl combined broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir to combined. Pour over beef and cook on low for 6-8 hours. When there is about an hour left remove beef and place on a plate. Keep sauce in crockpot. Grab the cornstarch and slowly add while whisking to prevent clumping. Turn the heat up to high add the beef back in and the broccoli. Cook the remaining hour on high. (if broccoli is small pieces it should only take about 30 minutes) Serve over rice!
