Servings 8 people
Author Scarlett Bendixen

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 3-5 lb pork roast (if it has a bone in more like a 7-9lb)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 1 T water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine together balsamic vinegar, water, honey, brown sugar, garlic, onion powder, and soy sauce. Whisk together. Then grab a crockpot and place a pork roast inside. Season well with salt and pepper. Cook on high for 6 hours. Then remove meat from crockpot into a large bowl and let rest. Place leftover juice in a saucepan over medium heat. In a small bowl combine the corn starch and water and whisk together. Then slowly add the corn starch to the sauce on the stovetop and whisk until it begins to boil. Let boil for about 3 minutes then remove from heat. Shred meat and then dump the sauce over the meat and mix all together. Then serve! I love to pair mine with mashed potatoes.
