Corn Chowder

Servings 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs russet potatoes cut into cubes
  • 1 15 0z can of corn drained
  • 1 1/2 cups ham diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 4 ribs celery diced
  • 4 carrots peeled and diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Place the first 9 ingredients into a crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Then in a small bowl whisk together milk and cornstarch. Then turn the crockpot on high and add the milk mixture. Stir then add the cheese and sour cream. Then serve.
