My oldest son Crew is my ultimate taste tester. He gives me honest and straight forward critic. Sometimes after I spend time and money making a meal it is not what I want to hear…of course that is only when he lets me know that “he’s had better” or “thats not my favorite” and I am not going to lie. Sometimes when I get those critics I tend to walk away and take a few deep breathes before I respond. But in my “line of work” as a food blogger those critics are needed. They are needed before I share so sometimes I take the brunt of the bad news.

I had been wanting to make a version of tacos like this for a while. They are a little more of a labor of love then shredded chicken tacos! But they are worth it. Every. Single. Bite.

I have seen some similar recipes that toss their chicken in the sauce. But the way I made the sauce made it rich and complex. A little goes a long way!!! Which is how I like it! That way you can still taste the other ingredients and the chicken and sauce doesn’t over power the recipe. I am excited to share this with you all!

  1. My husband is the pickiest eater and he told me to save this to make again! I love how super easy they were to make. I needed a little more egg mixture but I think it was more because my panko crumbs were a little thicker than normal. Delicious as usual!

    1. yay I am so glad you enjoyed them! its hard sometimes with the mixture bc chicken breasts are always different sizes so sometimes you just need a little more or little less or the breading
