This is the best creamy fruit salad recipe. Using ingredients you have right in your house!
1 large bowl of cut up fruit (I like to use pineapple, blueberries, kiwi, apples, strawberries)
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 teaspoons vanilla
In a saucepan over medium heat pour in 2 cups of milk. Then add the 1/4 cup of sugar. Whisk it together. Then add 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch. Bring to a boil for 8-10 minutes until it begins to thicken. Then add the lemon zest and vanilla. Then pour it over the fruit. It shouldn’t be as thick as pudding but thicker than milk. More like a dressing. Mix it all together. Then serve. You can store it in the fridge up to 4 hours prior to serving!
