BBQ Chicken Pizza with homemade dough

How to make homemade pizza dough

  1. In a bowl combine the water, sugar and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until yeast begins to bubble.
  2. Then add the oil, salt and flour slowly. Mix together for 5 minutes. If dough is sticky add more flour if dough is dry add more oil.
  3. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Then divide the dough into 4 sections and then sprinkle down a little flour and roll into a circle. Place on a baking sheet and then brush with a little oil live and then poke some holes with a fork and then top with sauce and pizza toppings.
  5. Bake at 500 degrees for 15-20  minutes.

dough ingredients

3 cups warm water

2 T sugar

3 heaping T yeast

6 T oil

1 T salt

6 cups flour

dough instructions

Then add the oil, salt and flour slowly. Mix together for 5 minutes. If dough is sticky add more flour if dough is dry add more oil.

Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Then divide the dough into 4 sections and then sprinkle down a little flour and roll into a circle. Place on a baking sheet and then brush with a little olive oil and then poke some holes with a fork and then top with sauce and pizza toppings.

Bake at 500 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

pizza ingredients

1 cup rotisserie chicken, cooked

1/4 red onion, thinly diced

1/2 cup bbq sauce

1 T olive oil

1 cup gouda cheese, grated

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

cooked bacon crumbles

pizza instructions

Take chicken and season with salt and pepper and then toss with olive oil and 2 Tablespoons bbq sauce. Then set aside.

Once dough is done and rolled into a circle take about 1/3 cup of the bbq sauce and spread onto the dough. Then top with chicken, cheeses and red onion.

Then bake at 500 for 15-20 minutes. Then remove from oven drizzle remaining bbq sauce and top with cilantro and bacon crumbles
