How to Make Grilled BBQ Chicken

As summer quickly approaches, I know we will be outside swimming, grilling, and spending time with our families! This is a great dish to have prepared for last minute summer dinners that everyone will enjoy.
How to make grilled BBQ Chicken
- Grab your chicken and rub it with vegetable oil then season with salt and pepper.
- Then heat up your grill.
- Take your chicken and place skin side down on the hottest spot on the grill. Sear for about 5-10 minutes.
- Then remove the chicken from the hot side and place on the cooler side, not directly over the flame or turn down your grill temp if you are using a smaller grill.
- Cover the grill and let cook for about 15-20 minutes.
- Slather it with BBQ sauce and cook for another 10 minutes or until the chicken has reached 160 degrees for breasts and 170 for thighs.
- Then slather it with more bbq sauce and serve!
