Milk and Cookie Shots

Milk and Cookie Shots When I think about New Years Eve recipes I wish it was some glamorous thing! But as a mom of 4 young kids New Years Eve is more about banging pots and pans, blow horns, family friendly food, and trying to make it until the ball drops! So when asked to create a New Years Eve recipe these cookie and milk shot glasses came in mind! These can be filled with all kinds of stuff and are fun for the entire family! My kids (and a few neighbor kids) went crazy over these!   Milk and …

Graveyard Halloween Scotcheroos

Halloween is just 1 week away and the past week I have been whipping up some fun Halloween treats for my family and these graveyards were an after school treat last week. When I received a package from Peanut Butter & Co. to try out some of their new products immediately I thought of scotcheroos. A family favorite!  I have never made them with almond and cashew butter so I really wanted to give them a try! And then I wanted to top them with some hazelnut spread and boy were they amazing! I can’t wait for you to give them …

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Crepes

I love fall time mostly for the food pumpkin in particular. Lets be honest fall time in Arizona is still in the 90’s so the weather is not the highlight of the time of the year! So thank goodness for pumpkin and fall flavors! When thinking of which recipe I would create as part of the Krusteaz Baker’s Dozen I couldn’t help but lean towards their pumpkin spice pumpkin pancake mix I have only made the pancakes before and have been wanting to mix things up! And one of the easiest ways to mix things up with their pancake mix is …

Chocolate Covered Strawberries Protein Shake

Chocolate Covered Strawberries Protein Shake

School has been out for 2 weeks for my kids. Luckily the temperatures have been pretty good and by pretty good I mean in the 90’s! Arizona weather can get in the 100’s in May. So for it being the end of May it has been gorgeous! The summer activities are in full swing. My sons are both in swim team which is early in the morning. Followed by that is basketball camp and then usually more swimming and activities! Lazy summer mornings aren’t a thing in our house right now. I am hoping that kicks in soon but for …

White Chocolate Reese’s Cookies

My husband always gets excited when he sees me in the kitchen making cookies. Then after they are done he always says “what happened to just making normal chocolate chip cookies” haha I obviously have a problem with making just normal cookies. Maybe it is because I am not a huge milk chocolate person. White chocolate on the other hand is right up my alley. Throw in some peanut butter and you have yourself one delicious cookie!    White Chocolate Reese’s Cookies 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract …

Chocolate Chunk Peppermint Pie

I obviously have a hard time letting pie go after Thanksgiving. But as much as I enjoy a good slice of pie I enjoy a good slice of freezer pie even more. My kids feel the exact same way! I also love pairing a good freezer pie with a yummy cookie crust. And nothing pairs better in my mind than chocolate and peppermint to celebrate the winter holidays! I let my son be the first taste tester of this pie and he said it was the better after school snack ever! And is now going to be a …
