Yummy S’more Texas Sheet Cake
Texas Sheet cake is the best! But just imagine adding a graham cracker crust and topping it with marshmallows!
For my sons Fortnite birthday party one of the signs that the etsy shop at pre-made had “s’mores” on it. I was trying to think of the perfect thing to make or create for the party. And then this popped into my head. I searched on Pinterest to see if it exsisted and it did not! I couldnt believe it!
I was bummed that I didn’t have a recipe to follow when I was a little tight on time and didn’t want to worry about creating anything. But I just went for it! And boy I am sure glad that I did! The kids downed them!
S’more Texas Sheet Cake
Ingredients
Graham Crackers
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 Tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup margarine (butter will work fine too)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour, shifted
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Grab a cookie sheet (10 x17) and line it with graham crackers.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a saucepan, mix water, oil, margarine, and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Cocoa should dissolve. Remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs, and flour. Beat well. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk. Then pour the mixture and the vanilla into the batter. Mix very well. (If there is lumps from the flour put in the blender for a few minutes) Grab a 10×17 cookie sheet and grease well and then pour batter evenly in on top of the graham crackers. Bake for 20 minutes. Rinse out the saucepan and then return it to the stove and make the frosting.
