Loaded BBQ Chicken Wontons Cups
I am so excited to share my BBQ Chicken Wonton Cup recipe with you! Chicken wonton cups are a fun way to enjoy bbq chicken. They are versatile and can be stuffed with whatever you like and can be a fun appetizer, lunch or dinner recipe!
Loaded BBQ Chicken Wontons Cups
Ingredients
- 18 wonton wrappers
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup bbq sauce (1/2 cup for crockpot + 1/2 cup to won tons)
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced small
- 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and cut into small pieces
- cilantro
- mango
- pineapple
- avocado
- BBQ sauce, to garnish
Instructions
- Grab a crockpot and toss in the chicken and 1/2 cup of bbq sauce. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Then once the chicken is cooked preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grab muffin tins and spray with cooking spray. Then press won ton wrappers into the muffin tins. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.
- In a bowl combine the cooked chicken, bbq sauce, cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar cheese.
- Then spoon the mixture into the cooked wonton cups.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. In the last few minutes add the red onion and bacon to each cups. (if the edges are getting too brown cover with foil.
- Then remove and top with cilantro and a bbq sauce drizzle.
