Here is my #1 bucket list item. An African Safari. Guess what my husband and I checked off for our 10th anniversary? You guessed it an African Safari.
Here is the itinerary we did! The flight was so long and far away and we needed to have a layover. So I searched to see where the layovers were and which location I most wanted to visit. From Phoenix Arizona there was options for Canada, Amsterdam, Germany, London, and a few others. We chose London and decided to make a trip of it!
We started the trip by spending 24 hours in London. We say the London eye, Buckingham Palace, went and saw Aladdin on Broadway and enjoyed a few meals.

Here are some more tips that I suggest
Book:
You NEED TO book the Adventure and Rejuvenation package at the Four Seasons: it will include all your meals, spa treatments, personal driver, hot air balloon, game drives, etc. It is a MUST!
Zanzibar
Zanzibar is beautiful and super fun but it is 3rd World. Scary at nights you don’t leave your resort. Our resort was super nice, quiet, and secluded but the food was not very good.
Airlines
It is worth paying the extra money for Coastal Airlines. Do not book precision air. We tried that and ended up getting stranded in a scary country in Africa. My only regret of the trip was trying to save money and fly Precision Air one way into Seronera
Also worth paying every dollar for the package at the four seasons. They pretty much serve you hand and foot and you can change times for your game drives, spa treatments, meals, etc. The personal game driver is also a MUST.
