My 3 year old daughter Demi wanted a Fancy Nancy Birthday Party this year! She kept saying over and over again for about a month that she wanted a “fancy pancy party” and she has asked me every day since to have another party! It was the perfect “low key” party with family and a few friends!
I wanted to share all the party details with each of you to make your party planning a little easier!
Outside we ordered yard signs from Spell It Out! It is a newer company and I have been using it for all of my kids birthdays and they absolutely love it!
Now lets jump right into it! Starting with the decor! This year I stuck mostly to flowers and balloons!
For the balloon garland I started by using this special kit to help! I didn’t end up needing the tape but I used the blue piece to tie the balloons as well as the decorating strip. I got the 50 foot one!
I have found the best thing to do when making a balloon garland is to buy your balloons at a few different places! I got some at the dollar store, hobby lobby and then I bought these, these, these, these, and these offof Amazon. I blew them up to all different sizes. I didn’t end up using all the balloons in each bag I just used some of each!
I also decided to stick flowers in the garland on the sides and top to give it more dimension! I got some from World Market as well as bought these ones.
Also for the backdrop I went over on Esty and got it here. It was the perfect addition to the party!
As far as the flowers on the ceiling I did the same thing as the balloons. I got some at the dollar store, hobby lobby, as well as here, here, here, here, and here.
Now lets move onto the tea party table! I rented the tables and chairs from Az Bounce Around.
Each guest has a seat with their name and place setting! I got the macaron stamp at Hobby lobby!
I got these fun felt food from pottery barn kids!
I had these grass place mats. The Tiffany boxes were filled with gold chocolates. I got the place tag holders at hobby lobby. And the plates, cups, and silverware at the dollar store.
I got a few tea sets for the kids to play with. And that’s exactly what they did majority of the party!
For the food: I ordered pink bread from the local grocery store bakery (just call and ask them to make it pink and they will!) I made PB&J and PB&H as well as ham and cheese! I cut them into different shapes! Then I made this pasta salad. I also made rainbow jello and fruit salad, cutting the watermelon into flowers.
For the drinks and dessert here is what we had!
Here are some Macarons that I ordered! They were amazing!!!
I got cake from Lisa’s Rum Cakes to serve! It was so so good!! I will absolutely delicious!
And my favorite part was the goodie bags!
For the goodie bags I did these bath bombs, gum balls, cotton candy, and popcorn bags!
And for the rentals I did this bounce house and face painting!
How do you adhere the balloons to
the wall or ceiling without the falling????
I use small hooks and fishing line
