How to make Crockpot Chicken and Rice

  1. Grab a crockpot and place the broccoli in the bottom of of it. Then top with the chicken. Followed by all the remaining ingredients (except the rice)
  2. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
  3. Then 10 minutes before you are going to eat remove the chicken and add the rice. Let cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add the chicken back in and serve!

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 T garlic powder
  • 1 T dried minced onion
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom
  • 8 oz Velveeta, cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cup minute rice

Instructions
