A delicious combination of cream cheese and pumpkin with a perfect consistency is all you need to make people fall in love. Marbled Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1 t ginger
  • ½ t salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 t baking powder
  • ½ t baking soda
  • ½ t ground cloves
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup + 1 T butter, softened
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 T butter
  • 4 T milk
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 T vanilla

Instructions

  1. Turn on oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 glass pan. Beat 1 cup flour, brown sugar, pumpkins, ½ cup butter, cinnamon, baking powder, ginger, baking soda, salt, cloves, eggs in a bowl and beat together. Then stir in the raisins and pecans.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients I a small bowl and beat together. Spread half of the pumpkin batter in a baking dish and then pour the cream cheese mixture on top. Then pour the remaining pumpkin batter on top and then use a knife to create a marble effect.
  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool then frost with browned butter frosting.
  4. How to make the frosting: Heat butter over medium heat until light brown. Stir in powdered sugar and then stir in the milk and vanilla until the frosting is smooth.
