Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
These peanut butter blossom cookies or kiss cookies as we like to call them are so fun to make and yummy to eat!
My kids especially like to hop in the kitchen with me and make these cookies! The ingredients are ones they know and are easy to measure and my daughter can make these all by herself! Teaching kids to be confident in the kitchen is huge to me! It allows them opportunities to serve others through cooking, helps them feel capable, and helps them feel wanted in the kitchen!
Some of my other favorite cookies for my kids to make are

Hershey kisses, foil removed
In a bowl or mixer add the butter, peanut butter and sugars then mix together until fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla and milk and mix again.
Then add the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt.

Roll cookies in granulated sugar and place on cookie sheet.
Bake until very light brown and puffed, 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove sheet from oven and lightly press a candy kiss into center of each cookie, allowing it to crack slightly
Return to oven until light golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove from oven, cool completely and store in an airtight container.
