Frosted Banana Bars
Banana Bars
The perfect treat to surprise your family with! Check out this delicious recipe and enjoy these fan favorite banana bars!
I occasionally bring different treats into my husband’s work and the crowd favorite is for sure my banana bars! I bring a variety of caramel chocolate pretzels and apples, cookies, popcorn mixes, cinnamon rolls, and many other things. But for some reason these banana bars seem to be their favorite! My husband always texts me within 30 minutes and says that the whole pan is already gone.
They are different from other banana bars I have tried. The sour cream in them makes the bar perfect and moist! I love them, but I think my husband and his friends love them even more than I do! They are my go-to bar recipe when I am trying to feed a crowd an easy dessert! Try them at your next bridal or baby shower, or at the next neighborhood BBQ! They will be a HIT for sure!
Both tangy and sweet, this recipe is extremely tasty and prepared with fresh bananas! The frosting on-top is my favorite part of any dessert and on these bars it does not disappoint. Cream cheese will make anything taste amazing! Check out how to make the cream cheese frosting and the banana bars down below.

These are the best banana bars! My family loved them.
Hi!! Looks delish! Is there any chance you have a recommendation for a swap instead of the sour cream? Preferably something non-dairy. Thank you!
greek yogurt
Can you use plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream?
yes
Can I put into 9×13 for a cake instead of bars?
here will be too much batter so just make sure to not overflow. And the cook time will be different
Have you tried putting in chocolate chips or peanut butter chips?
