This Christmas Chex Mix Recipe is one of my favorites this year! Some people like to call this Christmas Crack and I totally understand why! This stuff is addicting. I love making this throughout the entire year but during the holidays I love adding extra goodies to make it more festive.

If you’ve never tried this delicious holiday snack before then I can promise you you’re missing out. Hope on this trend and try out the yummy Christmas chex mix. It doesn’t have to just be made for the holidays and you can customize it with the different treats you add into it. This combination of flavors is to die for and ADDICTING…be warned. Once you try this recipe for the first time you will never look back. This is also super quick and easy to make which is amazing for last minute treats to bring to gatherings or potlucks. I love experimenting with candies and it always turns out amazing! Everyone is always so impressed with the display and asks for a recipe so here it is! Perfect in time for the holidays.

Christmas Chex Mix

This Christmas Chex Mix Recipe is one of my favorites this year! Some people like to call this Christmas Crack and I totally understand why! This stuff is addicting. I love making this throughout the entire year but during the holidays I love adding extra goodies to make it more festive. 

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Chex Mix Cereal
  • 6 cups Golden Graham Cereal
  • 2 3/4 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 cups sliced almonds
  • 1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • Holiday sprinkles
  • Holiday m &m's

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix together chex mix, golden grahams, coconut, and almonds.
  2. In a medium saucepan melt butter and stir in corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
  3. Then remove from heat and add the coconut extract. Pour the mixture over the chex mix mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir for a couple of minutes making sure that all the cereal is coated!
  5. Add the holiday items. If it is too wet add more cereal. Spread on a cookie sheet and let dry. Then eat up!
