This Christmas Chex Mix Recipe is one of my favorites this year! Some people like to call this Christmas Crack and I totally understand why! This stuff is addicting. I love making this throughout the entire year but during the holidays I love adding extra goodies to make it more festive.

Ooey Gooey Christmas Chex Mix
Christmas Chex Mix
This Christmas Chex Mix Recipe is one of my favorites this year! Some people like to call this Christmas Crack and I totally understand why! This stuff is addicting. I love making this throughout the entire year but during the holidays I love adding extra goodies to make it more festive.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Chex Mix Cereal
- 6 cups Golden Graham Cereal
- 2 3/4 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 2 cups sliced almonds
- 1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
- Holiday sprinkles
- Holiday m &m's
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together chex mix, golden grahams, coconut, and almonds.
- In a medium saucepan melt butter and stir in corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
- Then remove from heat and add the coconut extract. Pour the mixture over the chex mix mixture and mix well.
- Stir for a couple of minutes making sure that all the cereal is coated!
- Add the holiday items. If it is too wet add more cereal. Spread on a cookie sheet and let dry. Then eat up!
