Popsicles are consumed daily in our home during the spring and summer months. They are a staple in our freezer and my kids go through a large box a week. Not to mention they eat them all the time when they visit my parents and when they are at their friends houses.
When it hits over 100 degrees in the beginning of June the popsicle storage continues to grow and grow. I grabbed some popsicle molds at the store and my kids have been in heaven created new flavors. The possibilities are endless. I use whatever I have on hand. My daughter loves juice so I add our current favorite juice, then some fruit, then a splash of milk and stir it around. So here is todays popsicle flavor.
Guava, orange, pineapple juice
fresh pineapple slices, cut into small pieces
Grab the popsicle molds and fill half way with juice. Then place in fruit. I did pineapple, then blueberries, then raspberries. Then fill the rest of the popsicle mold with milk. Stir around with a small spoon or a long skewer stick. Most popsicle molds will have a line to fill it to. Fill to that line but not over. Place the top which is the popsicle stick into the mold and place on a flat surface in the freezer. Freeze all the way. I like to do overnight. Then lightly put the popsicle mold under warm water and then wiggle out the popsicle. Then enjoy!
