  • Cut fruits into bite-sized pieces: Cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces so that they can be  easily mixed and eaten. You can use a sharp knife or a melon baller to make uniform  pieces.
  • Add a citrus juice or zest: To prevent the fruits from browning and add extra flavor,  squeeze a little bit of lemon, lime, or orange juice over the fruit salad. You can also add  some citrus zest for an extra zing.
  • Add a sweetener: Depending on the sweetness of the fruits you use, you may want to  add a little bit of honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar to the fruit salad. This will  enhance the natural sweetness and add a touch of sweetness to the salad.
  • Chill before serving: Allow the fruit salad to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30  minutes before serving. This will help the flavors to meld together and make the fruit  salad more refreshing.
