Here is a simple recipe for the BEST crockpot mashed potatoes that take out all the hard work behind mashed potatoes.

Crockpot Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 5 lb bag of red or yellow potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese
Instructions
- Grab your potatoes and cut them in half. Then grab your crockpot and place the potatoes right in there. Thats it! Turn it on low for 6-8 hours.
- Once the time is up and the potatoes are soft grab your butter, cream cheese and sour cream and toss in. Then take your hand mixer and smash potatoes down a little then give it a mix. Don't over-mix or the potatoes will become gummy.
- Season with salt and pepper, more butter if you would like and serve!

I’ve used your mashed potato recipe before and love it. So easy! This time I didn’t realize I have russets. Just wondering why these need to be peeled but red do not?
