Ravioli with cream sauce {with sun-dried tomatoes and bacon}

Everything is better with bacon right? This ravioli with cream sauce is no exception! I love to take a simple recipe and add something to it to really take it over the top. Ingredients like bacon and sun dried tomatoes add a more complex flavor that adds so much variety! I love these flavor combos together and I hope you do as well!

How to make Ravioli with cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and bacon

  1. Prepare ravioli according to the directions on the back of the package
  2. Then in a saucepan add the heavy cream, butter, and cream cheese. Bring it to a simmer and then add the parmesan cheese. Then simmer for 15-20 minutes. Then finally add the garlic powder.
  3. Then pour the sauce over the ravioli once it is cooked and drained.
  4. Then top with sun-dried tomatoes, bacon crumbles, and shaved parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

ingredients for ravioli with cream sauce

  • Family size package of ravioli (whatever flavor you prefer) I used prosciutto and cheese
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Parmesan cheese shavings
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 Tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Prepare ravioli according to the directions on the back of the package
