Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese

Looking for the ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich recipe? One that has dimension and is absolutely delicious to eat?

This recipe can be made as spicy or as mild as you want by removing all or no seeds in the jalapeños.

Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese

ingredients

Texas toast or Sourdough bread

Mayo (to spread of bread for toasting)

8 jalapeños ( deveined all seeds removed)

16 oz cream cheese

1 lb bacon, cooked crispy

8 slices Monterey Jack cheese

8 slices cheddar cheese

instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Take the jalapeños and stuff them with cream cheese and bake for 25 minutes.

Once they are cooked remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes and then chop the stuffed jalapeños up trying your best to keep as much of the cream cheese and jalapeños together.

Then take a slice of bread and spread the mayo on one side and then place side down in a pan.

Top with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese and then add about 2 tablespoons of the chopped stuffed jalapeños on top.

Add the other side of the bread to the top. Spread a little mayo on top right before flipping.

Grill on each side until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.

Repeat steps for each sandwich and then enjoy!
