S’more Krispie Treats 

There’s no better way to celebrate a chilly fall weekend than by whipping up a batch of  delectable S’more Krispie Treats. This is a twist on the classic campfire delight, where  gooey marshmallows, velvety Hershey chocolate, and the nostalgic crunch of graham  crackers come together in a yummy punch of flavors and textures. It’s like fall in a dessert  form, a comforting hug for your taste buds.  

S’more Krispie Treats 

Ingredients 

  • 6 Tablespoons butter 
  • 1 16-ounce bag of mini marshmallows 
  • 1 Hersey Candy Bar 
  • 6 cups Graham Cracker Cereal 
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 

 

Directions 

  1. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place a parchment sheet over the dish  and spray the parchment sheet with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. 2. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Stir in marshmallows keeping a ½ cup set aside and  vanilla extract until they have melted completely. 
  2. Add graham cracker cereal to large mixing bowl. 
  3. Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal and stir gently. 
  4. Add in remaining marshmallows.  
  5. Pour mixture into lined baking dish and press down with silicone spatula. 7. Top with Hersey candy bars. 
  6. Let Krispie treat sit for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator. 
  7. Remove from refrigerator, cut and enjoy.  

 

Tips and FAQ’s 

Spray the baking dish and parchment paper you’ll be using with non-stick cooking spray to prevent  sticking. 

When melting the marshmallows and butter, use low-heat to avoid scorching. Stir constantly until  smooth and fluffy. 

A silicone spatula works great for pressing the mixture into the dish.  

Allow the S’more Krispie Treats to cool and set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cutting  into squares.

 

Can I make these treats in advance? Yes, you can make S’more Krispie Treats in advance. Just be sure to  store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh. They can last for several days at room  temperature or even longer in the fridge.

Can I make these treats without a stovetop? Yes, you can melt the marshmallows and butter in the  microwave. Just use a microwave-safe bowl, heat in short increments, and stir between each increment  until smooth.
