Acai bowl places are the new craze and I must say they do not disappoint! Not only are they healthy but they are fulled with tons of different fruit and are excellent for kids. With acai bowls you can get creative with the flavors to make it how you or your kids like it. I enjoy mixing up the recipe sometimes by adding unique fruits to the mix and they always turn out amazing! Normally I eat these acai bowls for breakfast but they can also make for a perfect lunch meal or even a late night snack. Fruit is good at anytime of the day!

Did I mention that this recipe is also extremely simple? I use two ingredients that I get from Costco and from there I experiment with whatever fruit I feel like having on the top that day. There is no wrong way to make acai bowls!

Acai Bowls Recipe

Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen acai superfruit packet
  • 1 frozen daily power fusion packet
  • 1/2 cup of milk or juice (add until you get the consistency you like)

Instructions

  1. Take 1 packet of the acai blend and 1 pack of the fruit blend and place in a blender.
  2. Add your choice of milk or juice to the consistency of your choice.
  3. Pour in a bowl and add whatever toppings you like.
  4. Enjoy!

Advanced Acai Bowl Recipe

If you want to make an acai bowl that requires more ingredients to make then follow this recipe! Similar to the one above, however the difference is you will be adding fresh fruit instead of frozen packets. Both turn out amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen acai packet
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 (5.3 ounce) container Greek yogurt (Any flavor works, but I really like blueberry!)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • OPTIONAL: Same toppings listed above

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until it is to a consistency you like.

2. Pour in a bowl.

3. Add toppings of your choice.

4. Enjoy!
