White Chocolate Gingerbread Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting
This is my second gingerbread recipe of the season (so far!) because I just LOVE the taste and smell of gingerbread. I mean, what else says Happy Holidays like gingerbread scent throughout your home?! These bars are the perfect treat to bring to any gathering you may be attending this holiday season! Or, if you’re staying close to home, this will take your family’s celebration no matter the size to the next level! The white chocolate with the gingerbread is a fantastic flavor combination that I can’t wait for you to try!

Ingredients for White Chocolate Gingerbread Bars
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 3 cups flour
- 1 t baking soda
- ¼ t salt
- 1 T ginger
- 1 T cinnamon
- ½ T nutmeg
- ¼ t ground cloves
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Ingredients for Cream Cheese Frosting
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ lb powdered sugar
- 1 T milk
How to Make White Chocolate Gingerbread Bars
- In a bowl or mixer mix together the butter and sugar. Then add the egg and molasses. Mix well. Then add the flour, baking soda, salt and spice. Mix together. Add the white chocolate chips and gently stir in.
- Pour into a greased 9×13 pan and then bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
- While the bars are cooling make the frosting. You can add food coloring if you want to make it a color and after you frost you can also sprinkle on some cinnamon if you would like!
