Easy Monkey Bread Recipe

My kids love pull apart bread and this homemade monkey bread is just as delicious as it is fun to eat! If you have never had monkey bread before then this recipe is a MUST TRY. I promise it never disappoints and is always a crowd favorite as a dessert. It is a great recipe for kids and super easy to eat (especially in one sitting)! Check out these easy steps to make this monkey bread!

Homemade Monkey Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes buttermilk biscuits (not flaky layers)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Spray bundt pan with non stick cooking spray.
  3. Combine the melted butter, and syrup in a small bowl.
  4. In another bowl combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.

5. Place half of the syrup in the bottom of the pan.

6. Then sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on top.

7. Lay the biscuits on the bottom of the pan.

8. Standing them up slightly and overlapping edges to form a ring.

9. Top with remaining syrup and sugar mixture.

10. Bake for 15 mins or until golden brown.

11. Cool for 1 minute in the pan and then invert onto serving platter and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds chopped
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees. Then spray the bundt pan with cooking spray. Combine in one bowl melted butter and maple syrup. In a different bowl add the cinnamon, almonds, pecans, and brown sugar. 

    In the bottom of the bundt pan add 1/2 of the butter/syrup mixture. Evenly to the bottom. Then sprinkle on 1/2 of the brown sugar/nut mixture. Evenly on top of the butter. 

    Then take the biscuit dough and arrange evenly on the bottom. Over lapping each other a little and going up the sides and center of the pan. 

    Then drizzle the remaining butter evenly on top of the biscuit dough. Then sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture. 

    Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are all the way cooked.
