Creamy Italian Sausage Rigatoni

Italian pasta recipes right at home really hit the spot at a fraction of the cost. This is a great one because it doesn’t take too much time and is absolutely delicious! This Italian sausage rigatoni is the perfect meal for hosting since it can feed so many.

How to make Creamy Italian Sausage Rigatoni

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the rigatoni pasta according to the directions on the back.
  2. Then in a skillet brown the Italian sausage. Then add the diced onion and garlic and sauté for a few more minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients (except the heavy cream) and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Then add the heavy cream and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  4. Then serve on top of the rigatoni pasta.

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes, optional
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 15 oz Italian diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
