Frequent Asked Questions and Tips:

  • Can I use bacon or even omit the sausage?
    • Absolutely! If you omit the sausage this will taste  more like a French toast casserole, which is every bit of amazing.
  • Can I use heavy cream instead of half and half?
    • You sure can!

Other Tips

  1. This casserole is best served right away.
  2. Top with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or even syrup.
  3. I have always used store bought donuts but you could use blueberry, sugared, or even  glazed donuts from the bakery as well.
