Frequent Asked Questions and Tips:

  • Serve these meatballs with a cracker and cheese tray or even make little sliders to create a nice quick lunch or dinner.
  • If you are not letting the meatballs thawed out that is fine it will take closer to 4 hours to cook on low.
  • If you have meatballs thawed out, you can whip this up in 2 hours and have a tasty dish.

  • Can I use regular cranberry sauce? You sure can, it’s a preference with the whole cranberries, I have even added fresh cranberries to the dish as an extra touch.
  • To store this dish- Store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
    • This dish is currently at an excellent mild heat, by adding one chopped chipotle pepper you will bring it up to medium heat. If it is too hot you can add 1/3 cup of brown sugar to bring up the sweetness.
  • Using pre-made meatballs makes this dish so easy to make but you can make your meatballs and add them to the crockpot if you choose. If you do this, I would only cook for 2 hours.
  • Can I use the little smokies instead of smoked sausage links? You sure can! Plus, this will even save more time because you will not have to slice the links.
