Orange Julius from Scratch

Orange Julius drinks always remind me of my childhood. I would be going to the mall and would always grab a orange julius smoothie to walk around with while I shopped! My mom would also make this drink for us when I was growing up all of the time and I remember it being my favorite drink that my mom would make. Trying out the recipe for myself I realized how easy it was to make and now my kids love it too! This is a great drink to make for people of all ages and it is suer refreshing to make for the summer time.

Don’t know what an orange julius is? This yummy drink all started with an orange juice stand and is now a sweet treat that everyone loves! Not quite a milkshake consistency and not really like a smoothie either. It is the perfect middle and tastes so fresh just like fresh squeezed orange juice. Try this drink out the next time you are wanting something to sip on by the pool or on a hot summer day.

Homemade Orange Julius

Ingredients

• 1 cup water (or sprite)
• 6 oz frozen orange juice
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 10-12 ice cubes 

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients listed in a blender.
2. Blend together then enjoy!
