Cinnamon French Toast with Raspberry

Overnight baked cinnamon French toast is one of my absolute favorites and this raspberry version is no exception! Check it out!

Do you love french toast as much as I do? This recipe will definitely solve your sweet tooth and is the perfect breakfast treat! Raspberry cinnamon french toast is AMAZING and everyone I make it for always falls in love with the flavor. French toast is really easy to make and it’s even easier to add your favorite topping to it. Raspberry is the perfect topping and pulls all of the flavors together perfectly in this recipe. Make it for your friends and family and impress them all with this easy gourmet breakfast meal. Try it out!

Raspberry Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredients at Night

  • 1 loaf of cinnamon bread, cubed
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t nutmeg

Instructions at Night

  1. First, place bread cubes in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Then, pour over the bread and cover while you refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Ingredients for Morning

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • raspberries

Instructions for Morning

  1. In the morning take the bread out of the oven and set aside.
  2. Then in a bowl mix together the melted butter and brown sugar.
  3. Sprinkle the almonds over the bread and then drizzle the brown sugar mixture on top of it all.
  4. Preheat oven for 400 degrees F then bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until the bread is baked in the center.
  5. Lastly, top with raspberries and serve!
