How to Make Easy Stir Fry

Here is a simple stir fry recipe! I love being able to add veggies and meat into one meal and this makes it super easy.

Stir fry is perfect for families looking for a quick and easy meal! It included tons of yummy vegetables that your kids won’t even notice and you can enjoy this dish right at home. Simple Stir Fry Recipe

Simple Stir Fry Recipe
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • ½ c. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 lb. boneless chicken, pork, or beef, sliced thin
  • 1 c. bell peppers (red, green, yellow, or any combination)
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced
  • 1 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare vegetables. In wok (or frying pan) , place 1 teaspoon oil; add chicken and onion.
  2. Stir-fry until opaque, about 3 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Add vegetables. 
  4. Stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add meat.
  6. Combine all sauce ingredients in small saucepan.
  7. Stir until thick; add to stir-fry.
  8. Serve over hot rice.

  • 1 Tbsp. corn starch
  • ¼ c. soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ginger (fresh)

3. Add vegetables. Stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 2 to 3 minutes.

4. Add meat.

5. Combine all sauce ingredients in small saucepan.

6. Stir until thick; add to stir-fry. Serve over hot rice.
