How to Cook Salmon on the Grill

Fish recipes are a favorite in my house currently and I am loving it! Fish is a great way to get your protein in and salmon on the grill is a very easy was to make it taste delicious. I have a few other salmon recipes on my site including a secret salmon sauce that I usually put on the side to dip in. How to Cook Salmon on the Grill

How to Cook Salmon on the Grill
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Salmon (about 1lb filet)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1/2 cup butter (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon dill

Instructions

  1. Double your foil. Place salmon on foil, put pats of butter all the way down the salmon, along with slices of lemon.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic salt and dill. Wrap up in foil and place on grill for 15-20 minutes on low.
  3. Put lid down (so you dont have to flip) When the salmon turns light and its flaky when tested with a fork it is done.
  4. I love to serve this with rice and steamed veggies!
