Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Use A Different Type Of Pasta?

Absolutely! Fettuccine is the noodle of choice in my household, but if you have a particular favorite feel free to choose that instead.

Chicken would be your best bet if you’re interested in bringing protein to this dish. I’d opt for a mild marinade or coating to your chicken, letting the tomato cream sauce truly shine. If you’re trying to decide how to prepare your chicken for this dish, here are my five favorite marinades.

How Long Does The Dish Keep For?

While we rarely have leftovers for this dish in our fridge for long, I’d recommend keeping it in an airtight container for 3-5 days. After that, I’d toss.

  1. The instructions say heat the butter AND oil over medium heat, but there is no oil listed in the ingredients? Should there be oil? Or just butter?
