Butterscotch cookies oatmeal are so yummy and up your cookie game. These will become your new favorites!

If you have never had butterscotch cookies oatmeal combination then you have got to try out this recipe. I have finally perfected it and I can’t wait for you all to try it out. These have perfect consistency with a moist filling and soft to the touch. The butterscotch bits are my favorite part and add so much flavor to the cookies. With very little steps to this recipe it is perfect to make with younger kids who want to help out in the kitchen! My kids love making this recipe and love eating the all right after they come from the oven. Try this recipe out for yourself and I promise it will become your new go-to when it comes to cookies!

Butterscotch Cookies with Oatmeal Recipe

Butterscotch Cookies Oatmeal

Butterscotch Cookies Oatmeal
Prep Time 7 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 19 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 Tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 2 cups quick rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Combined butterscotch morsels and butter, melt over boiling water. Remove from heat (you can microwave this if you want).
  2. Then add 2 Tablespoons boiling water with baking soda.
  3. Then add the butterscotch mix. Gradually blend the remaining ingredients. 
  4. Then take about a teaspoon of the dough and place on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
