Christmas Monster Cookie Bars

This red and green Christmas Cookie Bar recipe is going to be the new holiday favorite! It is super easy to make and everyone at the cookie exchange will be wanting seconds!

Do you need a last minute cookie recipe that is perfect for a crowd? These monster Christmas cookie bars are great for a holiday cookie exchange and everyone will be asking for the recipe afterwards. These are quick and easy to make if you are running behind or waiting until the last minute. Top them with your favorite toppings (ours are m&ms and Oreos) and you will have these delicious and pretty bars! Check these out and you will not regret it!

 

Christmas Cookie Bars

Christmas Cookie Bars
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 3/4 t baking soda
  • 3 cups quick oats

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar.
  2. Then add the vanilla, peanut butter and eggs.
  3. Mix together and then add the flour, salt, baking soda and quick oats.
  4. Combined well.
  5. Grab a 9x13 baking dish or 2 9x9's if you are making a variety of flavors.
  6. Press the dough into the baking dish.
  7. Next top with the toppings and gently press ingredients down.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 22-25 minutes.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

  • Red and Green M & M’s
