My absolute favorite food is buffalo chicken wings so this spin off for a buffalo chicken sandwich is AMAZING! Wings are great but have you ever has a buffalo chicken sandwich? These sandwiches are always a fan favorite especially in our household! I added a little twist to make them more suitable for children. By turning them more into a sweet buffalo sandwich they are now enjoyed by the whole family! I hope you love these as much as we all did! Follow along for easy steps on how to make these in a crockpot!

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
yields: 12 sandwich rolls

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • 1/2 of a 12 oz bottle of Franks Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 packet of dry ranch mix
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Franks Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
  • 2/3 cup of leftover sauce from crockpot
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 12 pack of Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese (cut in fourths- 24 pieces total)
  • butter
  • ranch

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours. After it is done cooking take out 2/3 cup of juice and set aside. Then shred chicken.
  2. Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and set aside.

Ingredients

Sweet Buffalo Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Franks Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
  • 2/3 cup of leftover sauce from crockpot
  • 1 Tablespoon water

Buffalo Sauce Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside.

 

Other Ingredients

  • 12 pack of Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • Ranch
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese (cut in fourths- 24 pieces total)
  • Butter

How to Assemble Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees broil. Slice rolls and butter each side.
  2. Place 2 pieces of cheese on 1 side of the roll on the other side take some chicken and place on other side of the roll.
  3. Place on a cookie sheet and put in the oven until cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from oven and place a teaspoon of ranch and a teaspoon of the sweet buffalo mix on the chicken.
  5. Close sandwich and enjoy!

{I usually put the sweet buffalo sauce on half of the rolls and then just keep the rest of them the plain buffalo chicken sandwich. My husband likes the buffalo chicken sandwiches, my boys like the sweet buffalo chicken sandwiches and I have to have at least 1 of each!}

Ingredients

  • 1/2 packet dry ranch mix

Sweet Buffalo Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Franks Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 2/3 cup leftover sauce from crockpot

Others

  • 12 pack Hawaiian Rolls
  • 6 slices provolone cheese cut into fourths
  • butter
  • ranch

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves. remove from heat and set aside.
