Mummy Chex Mix Recipe

This mix  screams Halloween and the whole family especially the kiddos will be grabbing handfuls. This mummy Chex mix is perfect for the classroom or even your Halloween party. Don’t be  frightened by how fast this mummy Chex mix disappears, though all the ghost and goblins will  be wanting more. 

Mummy Chex Mix Recipe

Ingredients

• 4 cups rice Chex cereal 
• 1 cup almond bark, melted 
• 2 cups powdered sugar 
• 3 cups white chocolate covered pretzels 
• 2 cups mini marshmallows 
• 7.6 oz. bag white mini Resse's 
• 7.6 oz. bag white mini–Kit Kat 
• 1 cup shredded coconut 
• ½ cup white chocolate chips
• ½ cup candy eyes

Instructions

1. In a large bowl mix together rice Chex cereal and melted almond bark gently.
2. Once Chex cereal is completely covered in almond bark then add to a large Ziplock bag and add  powdered sugar. Seal bag and shake coating all cereal. 
3. In a large bowl add coated cereal and the remaining ingredients and toss together.
4. Serve and enjoy!

Rice Chex cereal, white chocolate covered pretzels, white mini-Reese’s, white mini kit Kats, mini  marshmallows, almond bark, shredded coconut, powdered sugar, and candy eyes.

• Can I add different kind of candy?
  • You sure can! Add or omit to your preference. 
• Can I make this mix ahead of time?
  • Yes, I would make up to 3 days before you are wanting to  serve and just make sure to seal in a large Ziplock bag. 
• Can I make original muddie buddies?
  • Absolutely! For this recipe I kept it all white with it being a  mummy theme. 
• Tip: Sometimes you can find white chocolate covered pretzels in your local grocery store but if you can I  would just get mini pretzels and dip them into 1 cup of melted almond bark. Let them sit on parchment  paper until chocolate has harden.
