25 Days of Christmas Cookies
A Sweet Holiday Tradition & the Memories That Matter Most
Every December, we kick off one of our favorite traditions: 25 Days of Christmas Cookies. What started as a fun baking challenge has turned into something so much sweeter—time in the kitchen with my daughter, flour-covered counters, taste tests, and memories we’ll carry far beyond the holidays.
This year, we baked everything from classic favorites to fun, festive twists, ending on Day 25 with the perfect citrusy treat. If you’re looking for Christmas cookie inspiration or want to start a baking tradition of your own, here’s the full list of our 25 Days of Christmas Cookies.

Day 25!!! Can’t believe it! Here is a recipe I created for sodalicious! My orange creamsicle cookie!
Orange creamsicle cookie
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 t salt
3/4 t baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 t vanilla
2 T orange zest
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons orange juice
Zest of 1/2 orange
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl combine together the flour, baking soda and salt then set aside. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in orange zest and white chocolate chips.
Drop round teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Do not flatten down so it avoids the cookies becoming dry.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown on the edges.
Then glaze

🤍 More Than Just Cookies
While every cookie was delicious, the real joy of these 25 days wasn’t the recipes—it was the moments in between. The giggles, the messes, the late-night baking, and the time spent side by side with my daughter are what made this tradition truly special.
These are the memories I hope she carries with her someday. The kind that remind her that Christmas wasn’t about perfection, but about togetherness.
🎅 Save This Tradition for Years to Come
Whether you bake one cookie or all 25, I hope this list inspires you to create your own holiday tradition. One filled with love, laughter, and just a little extra sugar.
